Hidden Homeless

You only have to walk through the city centre during peak time and get caught in the hustle and bustle of crowding commuters and shrieking shoppers barging you out of the way, to see that second thought to our fellow human being has become a commodity these days.

(macca dismounts his high horse)

Well here at Tunafish Media we want to encourage sharing the love, that’s why we are thrilled to announce that we are working with Bradford based charity "Hidden Homeless". The charity strives to change lives by changing attitudes, aiming to challenge unfair policies and raise awareness about homelessness and the issues surrounding through the eyes of those effected through creative writing all published in his magazine .

How/why did owner Gary Staniforth get in touch with Tunafish you ask. Well it all started with professional poker player Andrew Fellman and a Channel 4 programme called "The Secret Millionaire". Andrew was spent a week working with Hidden Homeless under the pretense he was doing a documentary about teenage unemployment, unbeknown to Gary he was actually a multi millionaire.

Gary and Andrew worked with teenagers in writing workshops creating songs and spoken word poetry, by the end of the week he was that overwhelmed by the great work Gary and his team do in the community he unveiled his true identity and donated a large sum of money to invest into helping others and giving people who from no fault of there own find themselves in dark situations a chance to shine.

One of the projects they are working on is a song written by the visitors of the centre to ask questions and get rid of the stigma that surrounds homelessness in the UK.

The song is sounding great and the video is in production now helmed by Tunafish Media and our good friend Stuart Turner.

The video looks to send up the message well and hopefully turn some heads doing so it should be out late September early October but watch this space If you are interested in the Hidden Homeless Project please do check them out:

Keep sharing the love people
